Julia and Gosha

August,12,2010. A very sad and miserable day for me and for many of my friends. These photos are the last one may see of Gosha. He died of colic the night before. He was alone and no one could help him. I've got no commentaries about the accident.
Green valleys for you, my dear

cool motion8 is part of a wonderfully unique equestrian series of stock photos by *ShittyChickenBang. This image in particular fabulously captures the motion between the horse and its rider with a nice quality of clarity and emotional depth. ( Featured by FantasyStock )

i understand that this is stock photography but i still feel like pointing a few things out.
please dont take this as an attack of any sort, but rater as critique, because thats what it is

you may wanna consider cropping this photo since there is alot of superfluous information(as far as background)

also, you many wanna straighten this out so that the horizon isnt at such an angle

theres also some stuff that you cant change at this point, but should put itno consideration next time you go out to take photos
for example your camera's ISO settings, and what type of light its set to. it seems like the ISO was wrong, making it come out kinda grainy. The lighting (being natural light) suggests that the photo also came out kinda de-saturated

NOW
i wil say that you did a good job by selecting a fast shutter speed, and by having taken this picture at this precise moment

Cool! Really hangin' on there, huh? Lol. I've slipped off my horse when he walked out of the water, he's so slippery!

When wet they are all slippery))) But I usually slip off when they are running.

Lol. My horse runs like you're riding a bicycle over rail road tracks. Since I ride bareback, it took me a year to learn how to hold on to him just right so I wouldn't fall off.

That day when these shots were made Gosha was my means of transportation to the lake and back. Before it I rode bareback only in winter,3 layers of clothes prevented the seat from any injury)))) so didn't feel any discomfort. This time was an exception, and on my way back while he was trotting, the pain was so terrible, that i simply fell off and decided to walk near him back...

Lol. My guy is so big that I don't need any padding. Trotting is a different story, though. He's pretty rough and I've fallen off many times. Saddles keep me on, but I don't want to be on, then, when he's trotting. Lol.

Yes...The advantage of a saddle is that it doesn't make you fall or beat the seat off...And they are completely useless while gallopping...

Lol. At least on my guy. Those stirrups are pretty handy when galloping, though. Have you ever tried a treeless saddle? I like those much better. They don't my knees as bad, are MUCH lighter, and they conform to the horses' backs better. I'd be willing to use those regularly. I think they're a little cheaper than traditional saddles.
